Blog Tour #bookreview The Best Boomerville Hotel by Caroline James @rararesources

A couple months back, mid Jan, I told you about Caroline James’s upcoming title The Best Boomerville Hotel and we saw the gorgeous cover then. Now the lovely story is released and here’s my thoughts on the same. It is a perfect read for laughs and snorts during the summer months by the pool.

Title – The Best Boomerville Hotel
Author – Caroline James
Publisher – Ruby Fiction (ChocLit UK)
Publishing – 13 March 2018
Set in – England.
Profession of lead characters – Hotel owner and Manager.

Let the shenanigans begin at the Boomerville hotel …

Jo Docherty and Hattie Contaldo have a vision – a holiday retreat in the heart of the Lake District exclusively for guests of ‘a certain age’ wishing to stimulate both mind and body with new creative experiences. One hotel refurbishment later and the Best Boomerville Hotel is open for business!
Perhaps not surprisingly Boomerville attracts more than it’s fair share of eccentric clientele: there’s fun loving Sir Henry Mulberry and his brother Hugo; Lucinda Brown, an impoverished artist with more ego than talent; Andy Mack, a charming Porsche-driving James Bond lookalike, as well as Kate Simmons, a woman who made her fortune from an internet dating agency but still hasn’t found ‘the One’ herself.
With such an array of colourful individuals there’s bound to be laughs aplenty, but could there be tears and heartbreak too and will the residents get more than they bargained for at Boomerville?
‘Britain’s answer to the Best Marigold Hotel! Book me in for Sharing with the Shaman and Clairvoyance in mid-life – this book is fabulous!’
Nikki Ashton, Amazon best-selling author

My thoughts

Jo and Hattie are back, for those who have read about these 2 ladies in the Author’s previous stories. If you don’t know them, worry not, you’ll meet these fantastic ladies and get to know about them.

After all that’s what this story is about, about a place where people in their golden years can spend time, have fun hobbies and start a new chapter of their lives.

Jo has reopened her hotel as a hotel which caters to a very selective clientele, people of a certain age group. She wants a place where people can Recharge, replenish their souls as they settle down for life post retirement. Hattie is her second in command, the hotel manager.

The hotel is to have various courses, activities which people can take up and learn things they always wanted to and at the end of the relax and meet like minded people, maybe even find love if they looking for it.

What I absolutely loved about The Best Boomerville Hotel

1: Jo and Hattie, the best friends, work colleagues with distinct personalities, they are the best Hosts to have on a relaxing holiday.
2: the shenanigans the hotel staff and guests get up to had me in stitches, it was great fun with them.
3: A story well thought out, relaxing and full of entertainment.
