Release Blitz #bookreview Enamoured by Giana Darling @CANDIKANEPR @GIANADARLINGAUTHOR

Hello dear readers, today’s blog is a Release Blitz and #bookreview of Giana Darling’s latest Enamoured which concludes the Enslaved Duet. Happy Reading.

My thoughts

Book 2 of the Enslaved Duet by Giana Darling concludes the story of Lord Alexander and Cosima Lombardi.

To say the least this is a story filled with some of the terrifying and darkest truths of humanity. This is where the author turns or rather brings out the sunshine, also hidden within the darkest crevices of human beings who are reluctant slaves to their circumstances.

The story covers a few taboo topics like perversion, slavery of the BDSM style. If that’s not to your tastes, you don’t have to read any further. However, this story is much more than that, it also is a love story riddled with obstacles on every step. The author, through the story, relates the lives of the characters with that of the Greek Hades and Persephone. This just add to the dazzle of the story. I found the twists and obstacles in the lives of the characters to be tense, keeping one hoping of a ray of sunshine, many times wondering if that’s the end, sometimes on the edge of the seat with the cruelty of circumstances Cosima finds herself in.
The characters are regal, not only beautiful on the outside but with so much strength, bravery and beauty on the inside too.
It was stunning, beautiful to see the way the lives of Alexander and Cosima evolve from a horrifying beginning to a shining ever after. There’s a lot of good, bad and every emotion in between weaved in the story that it simply makes it such a satisfying story to read. It’s an experience which will make me wanna re read the story time and again.

Blurb:
It was the worst day of my life.

I know most people say that about something obviously horrific—a first heartbreak, the discovery of a fatal illness, or the funeral of a loved one—but my situation was a little different.
Not only was it my wedding day, but it was also the day I chose to die.

Two men.
The first, my Master, my captor, and my impossible love.
The other, his brother, a mafioso I was meant to ensnare and ruin.

If I had any hope of living a normal life reunited with my family, I had to make a choice.
End my old life as I knew it and start fresh, or take down the monsters that hunted me and haunted my Master.

In the end, the decision was never really mine to make. Because Alexander Davenport would come to claim me even in death.
