My name
is Ashley Ellis…
I was thirteen years old when my mother – retired supermodel, Tig – married Mosier Răumann, who was twice her age and the head of the Răumann crime family.
When I turned eighteen, my mother mysteriously died. Only then did I discover the dark plans my stepfather had in store for me all along; the debauched “work” he expected me to do.
With the
help of my godfather, Gus, I have escaped from Mosier’s clutches, but his twin
sons and henchmen have been tasked with hunting me down. And they will stop at nothing to return my virgin body to their father
…dead or alive.

My thoughts

Cinderella is one of my favorite #fairytale for a simple fact that it keeps the hope of Love for Anyone alive. So any retelling /inspired by it tales catch my attention. Why I loved this particular inspired tale has a couple of reasons.

1 – The author is one of my favorites. She makes her stories a very nice blend of romance, fairytale, dash of evil and in the end there’s hope, triumph, love winning the battle.

Her stories are inlcusive of the human behavior, characters which are yet to be treated and accepted as the norm, despite what the law and social media portrays. Which Wins my heart to be honest.

2 – The plot of this story has the tradition and modern on one platform. It is not good over bad but human spirit which wins in the end. The evil in the story is set in tradition, like the bad – caveman type. The modern though has the caveman but in a very, very sexy, acceptable, freeing way.

So, there it is, a Cinderella inspired tale which you will find relatable without missing on the magical fairy tale part. It is long enough to finish in one sitting or over the weekend.

If you love modern fairytales, don’t think and go check out Katy’s modern #fairytale series now.
