The Gift of Cockleberry Bay FINAL COVER

Story

All of our favourite characters from Cockleberry Bay are back in this final, heart warming story in the series. Including Hot, Rosa Smith’s adorable dachshund and his new-born puppies.

Now successfully running the Cockleberry Café and wishing to start a family herself, Rosa feels the time is right to let her inherited Corner Shop go. However, her benefactor left one important legal proviso: that the shop cannot be sold, only passed on to somebody who really deserves it.

Rosa is torn. How can she make such a huge decision? And will it be the right one? Once the news gets out and goes public, untrustworthy newcomers appear in the Bay . . . their motives uncertain. With the revelation of more secrets from Rosa’s family heritage, a new journey of unpredictable and life-changing events begins to unfold.

My Thoughts

In the final installment of The Cockleberry Series we see Rosa hand over the shop to the next deserving person as instructed by her late great grandparents. The goal is to choose the next owner of the corner shop which means a lot to Rosa in every way however she also is keen and must begin the next chapter of her life too.

In the Gift of Cockleberry Bay we see Rosa and her close family and friends set on the journey to provide the reader with a fitting finale show. Be it the conditions and competition to choose the next owner for the shop, trying to cook up their own puppies to seeing Hot welcome his pups into the world it is an adventure. There isn’t a moment of peace just a series of good, exciting turn of events for every character in the story with Rosa finding herself in the midst of all of them. I truly enjoyed seeing this awesome series come to a finale. The characters of the sleepy beach village with its fantastic characters, adorable daschunds and the never ending drama around them are a perfect series to binge on any time of the year.

So without thinking more, just grab the series and start your adventure in the Cockleberry Bay with Rosa and Mr. Sausage.
